Smart HDR enhances native HDR content and converts SDR content to HDR
Since HDR content and sources are not yet as widespread, SMART HDR is able to upgrade Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) content to HDR-like image quality, allowing viewers to benefit from their favorite content in the highest possible image quality. In addition, on native HDR content, SMART HDR dynamically enhances content and adapts it to the capabilities of the screen. Through artificial intelligence and HDR scene identification, SMART HDR technology is able to optimize both dark and light scenes. On dark scenes, it integrates the brightness level to reveal the most shadowed hidden objects.
